Summer Camp at Sandy Springs UMC Preschool is held for two weeks in
June and we've added a week in July to coordinate with Vacation Bible School hosted by the church.  You can register for any week or all of them!!  Children aged 2 (by September 1, 2012) through Kindergarten (rising 1st Graders) are invited to attend!  Your child will enjoy arts & crafts, music, special entertainers, outdoor exploration and play, science fun and snacks all geared around a particular theme for the week!

Week of June 3rd - 7th: "Wild Kingdom"

     Join us as we celebrate the animals of the Wild Kingdom!!  We'll investigate all kinds of animals from elephants to pandas to kangaroos, what they eat, their habitats, and where they can be found on the globe!  Arts & Crafts, Science, Music, Gym Activities, Playground, Special Entertainers-- even our daily snacks will incorporate the theme!  Friday is water play day at camp so the kids will get to don their bathing suits and make a splash in the watering holes (kiddie pools) of the Wild Kingdom!!

Week of June 10th - June 14th: "The Great Outdoors"

     This week will be full of surprises as we explore The Great Outdoors!  We'll talk about camping, hiking, and appreciate the wonder of nature in our own backyards while we incorporate the theme through our Arts & Crafts, Science, Music, Gym Activities, Playground, Special Entertainers and, again, even our snacks will all incorporate the theme!  Friday is water play day at camp, so we'll emerge from our tents and make a splash! The kids can wear their bathing suits as they enjoy The Great Outdoors!

Week of July 15th - July 19th: "Make a Joyful Noise"

     This week's camp is held in conjunction with Sandy Springs United Methodist Church's Vacation Bible School.  While older children are invited to be a part of VBS, younger children can come and Make A Joyful Noise as we investigate music, instruments and song!  We'll explore rhythm, rhyme, and sounds while we tune in to the theme via Arts & Crafts, Science, Music, Gym Activities, Playground, Special Entertainment and even our snacks will underscore our theme!  As usual, Friday is water play day at camp, so we'll enjoy a little Water Music in the kiddie pools!  The kids can wear their bathing suits and their giggles and laughter will certainly Make a Joyful Noise!
