Sandy Springs United Methodist Church is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This means that in all we do, we are encouraging and empowering each other to grow deeper in their faith and to impact our community in a positive and meaningful way. We have structured our leadership in such a way to allow us to more freely empower each other to lead the church in exciting new ways.
As Methodists, we believe in a Triune God; in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe in God’s grace, which is offered to all people. For this reason, our Communion table is open to all people who desire to partake in the Lord’s Supper. As a United Methodist Church, we uphold the United Methodist Book of Discipline, which guides our church structure and leadership. This book is derived from the teachings and methods of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement.
Because one page of text cannot fully articulate the full theology and history of the Methodist Church, Sandy Springs periodically offers a Conexis Class for new members and curious visitors who have questions about Christianity, Methodism, or additional ways to connect with our church.
