Sunday Night Study Series

Our next Sunday Night Study Series will begin Jan. 26 and run through March 2, weekly, from 4 to 5:15 p.m., with dinner to follow. Join us as we explore the lives and stories of Old Testament women in this 6-week Candler Foundry course! Taught by two scholars currently studying at Emory University, this class will explore the cultural, historical, and theological contexts of biblical life, with a focus on the narratives and contributions of female characters like Ruth, Esther, and Miriam.

Over ten weeks, they'll read a chapter each week and explore the scriptural themes and insights that accompany Martin’s inspiring message. This is a great opportunity to connect, grow in faith, and learn practical ways to build meaningful relationships in everyday life. Bring your book and a friend! The group meets weekly at 9:45 a.m. in the conference room.

  • SERENDIPITOUS WESLEY CLASS: This class for adults meets in room 303 on the North Campus on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 a.m. and addresses contemporary themes, often focusing on outreach and service. Studies are scripture-based and incorporate videos prepared by well-known teachers and pastors followed by discussion.
