The missions & outreach team at Sandy Springs UMC offers members and guests of all ages and abilities the opportunity to get involved in reaching out to the community.  We work with many community groups and organizations to reach out and share the love of God in tangible ways.

Donations Needed

Help us support the Atlanta Mission! We're collecting donations for Adult Personal Hygiene Kits as part of our April Serve Sunday. Now through March 30, drop off needed items in the lobby to help provide care and dignity to those in need. Items needed:

• 1-gallon Ziploc bags

• Full-size body wash

• Full-size body lotion

• Toothbrushes

• Full-size toothpaste

• Travel-size shaving cream

• Shaving razors

Backpack Buddies

Our Backpack Buddies program helps feed food-insecure families over the weekend by sending kids home from school with extra food on Fridays. You can help by staying after church on Sundays and helping pack food or helping deliver the food to a local elementary school on Thursdays.
