Parking

Park in visitor spaces next to the sanctuary building; behind the building and take the elevator up when you enter, or you can park across Mt. Vernon HWY in the spaces on the street.

Children

Children are welcome in this family-friendly service! There will be a nativity play put on by children. Nursery care will be available for children ages 2 months through 3 years old starting at 3:30.

Dress Code

People will wear everything from jeans to suits and dresses, so come dressed as you feel best!

When should I arrive?

Music will begin at 3:30 so come find a seat anytime between 3:30 and 4.

Angel Tree benefiting LaAmistad
Pick an angel and buy a gift for a Lake Forest Elementary student who attends the LaAmistad after-school program on the church campus. Unwrapped gifts are due back by December 12. Thank you for spreading Christmas cheer in our community! 

Staff Christmas Love Offering

It’s the time of year where we think about the people who are important to us and how we can show them how much we love them this holiday season.

As you’re making your list, I ask that you consider a gift to the SSUMC staff, who work so hard all year to create programs and ministries that make this church a wellspring of love and hospitality. Your gift allows us to provide a year-end “bonus” for all our staff as a token of our appreciation.

You can give in a few ways through Sunday December 18th

  • To give online, go to SSUMC/give. Be sure to designate the donation “staff love offering” in the memo line.

  • Write a check and drop it off at church or in the offering plate. Please mark the gift “staff love offering”

  • Consider writing a card or letter to individuals on the staff to show your appreciation for the unique gifts they bring to the work of the church.
